The only part of the scenario layed out on the Homey page that is real at this time is that we own land that was at one time part of a large ranch. But that's a start. A very good start. We don't currently live on the property but in another state a better part of a day's drive away. We are not alone with some version of our vision. Not by a long shot. Homesteading and other 'get back to the roots' movements are exploding in popularity and for good reason: our food, lifestyle, medicine, etc. is not making us healthier but sicker over time. We all need to have worthy goals to strive for and on this website we will catalog our journey as we try to take more responsibility for our health and to develop and pursue the unique talents and skills God has given to us and to share them with others. Bobbie Marie's apostolate through Mons Carmeli is to integrate her passion for Catholic mystical theology and biblical health coaching to help others in their spiritual and health journeys. Brendan's goals with Men Defend include utilizing his teaching background to clarify some misunderstood and maligned history as it pertains to the Catholic Church.
